1812 Indefatigable French Oak Whisky Collectors Edition
1812 Indefatigable Limited Edition Whisky is a 14 year old Single-Malt Whisky, the only Whisky available in the world at 50% ABV produced by Tasmania Distillery (all their others are 47.5%). There are 100 bottles made available in the world every year. Distilled by Tasmania Distillery, the makers of Sullivan's Cove French Oak cask HH525, which was named the world's best Single-Malt Whisky at the 2014 World Whisky Awards. Their whiskies are quintessential small batch luxury, made by traditional methods using only Tasmanian ingredients, it is not chill filtered nor are any flavours or colours added. Each barrel is bottled individually to capture subtle variances that occur from barrel to barrel and the result is one of the best new whiskies on the market. This collectors item, or dram for the connoisseur, sits in a beautiful bespoke, distressed oak presentation case, invoking the heritage to ships chests of that period, and that of the French oak casks that the whisky is matured in. The label has been designed around a painting commissioned from renowned Irish artist Brian Maguire. Each label is individually signed by the artist. The bottle is handcrafted in Norfolk by a Master Glassmaker at Langhams. This company was selected to produce a bottle that would equal the magnificent Whisky it would contain. The result is a beautifully hand-crafted bottle, made from the finest Barium Crystal. The bottle stopper is designed by long established silversmith David Bradley who has used solid Irish silver to hand craft its production. The silver stopper is then engraved with the 1812 Indefatigable logo and individually numbered.
