Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre plunge their roots into the depths of the mother rock, which contributes to giving exceptional qualities to this wine. Manual harvests, very small yields and ageing for 18 months in large wooden vats called "foudres" for a superb result.
This wine has a beautiful cherry red colour. Its expressive and charming nose of red berries and its ample and progressive, but never heavy, sensation on the palate make it an indulgent, subtle and sensual wine. The notes obtained from the ageing process complete the balance for an end result that is airy and full of light.
Situated on the low and medium-height terraces of Chateauneuf du Pape. Clay-limestone soil covered with rounded pebbles. The climate is Mediterranean with two dry seasons (one in winter and a longer one in summer) and two rainy seasons (heavy some years in autumn and lighter in spring). Finally, the presence of the Mistral wind throughout the year is a real advantage for the healthy growth of the vines.
A classy wine that pairs well with red meats, game, and flavourful cheeses.
