Maison La Mauny Spiced offers a delightful blend of Agricole rum and gentle spices sourced from the beautiful Antilles islands, namely Cinnamon, Vanilla, and Nutmeg. Crafted using the finest Martinique rum, La Mauny's spiced rum exudes a remarkable depth, enticingly sweet with hints of caramel, cinnamon, ginger, citrus, and luscious brown sugar. The harmonious fusion of these flavours creates an exquisite and indulgent rum experience.

Ferdinand Poulain, Count de Mauny, a nobleman from Brittany and Councilor of the Court of Appeal of the King of France, arrived in Martinique. He married the daughter of a planter who owned a sugar estate located in Riviere Pilote, on the southern part of the island of Martinique. This property became the La Mauny domain. In addition to sugar production, they also produced Tafia, a precursor of rum.

When the sugar economy began to show signs of weakness, the plantation decided to focus part of its production on the La Mauny distillery, which went on to develop production of agricultural rum made of pure, fresh sugarcane juice grown on the estate.

The domain, spread over some 420 acres of very rugged terrain, became the property of the brothers Theodore and Georges Bellonie. Georges ran the distillery while his brother Theodore was in charge of trade, specializing in rum.

Today La Mauny rum has obtained the protected designation of origin, "Appellation d'Origine Controle"(AOC) in 1996. La Mauny has continued to grow for the last twenty years, and its expertise is recognized by consumers as well as by juries of French and foreign experts, who have awarded it a number of prizes for its white and dark rums.

HOW LONG DOES DELIVERY TAKE?
Where possible all orders placed before 2.00pm are despatched on the same day of ordering subject to stock availability. All orders are despatched using a 2-4 day carrier service, however we can not guarantee a delivery day as there may be circumstances beyond our control.

Orders placed after 2pm Friday will be despatched on Monday. (Excludes bank holidays).

If you are not in to sign for your delivery the carrier will leave a notification with details for you to arrange to collect your parcel or to organise a re-delivery that is convenient to you.

Alcohol deliveries require a person aged over 18 to be present at the point of delivery and cannot be left outside a property.
