Produced from Primitivo grapes from old vines cultivated in the Manduria area (Apuglia Region - Southern Italy). After 18 months ageing in big oak barrels before bottling it's bouquet is rich and complex, with pleasant ripened fruits like blackberry and cherry, licorice and spice notes. Full bodied in taste, velvety, supple with good persistence. Goes well with seasoned and tasty cheese, game and chocolate desserts.
